Learn More About Western Growers Retirement Security Plan
Getting to Know WG’s New 401(k) Stewards:
NWPS and Charles Schwab
The Western Growers Retirement Security Plan (WGRSP) Advisory Board recently selected Northwest Plan Services (NWPS) and Charles Schwab to serve as the new administrator and custodian, respectively, of WG’s 401(k) plan. The transition process from OneAmerica to NWPS will take place over the next two months, and we’re looking forward to this new partnership yielding immediate benefits!
We are committed to better serve the retirement needs of our WGRSP employers and participants.

Our goal was simple: We wanted to become better stewards of our 401(k) resources, while also making it possible to expand flexibility in the plan’s design and investment options.
NWPS is the largest Multiple Employer TPA in the U.S., and they offer a wide range of Qualified and Non-Qualified plans with highly competitive fee structures. We can also look ahead to the possibility of NWPS changing the RSP structure—from
a Group Trust to a Multiple Employer Plan—which would significantly lower compliance costs for WGRSP employers and participants.
As the largest custodian in the retirement industry, Charles Schwab brings a wealth of market expertise, cutting-edge technology, unmatched investment options, and favorable
fees and expenses. In addition, Charles Schwab has also made a substantial, long-term commitment to help grow and diversify WGRSP.
A greater, more diverse variety of investment options. More competitive fees and expenses. Industry-leading technology and customer support.
We are extremely excited about our new partnership with NWPS and Charles Schwab and all the unparalleled benefits they have to offer. Benefits that will help better serve your retirement needs and ensure a smoother path to future security.
